My husband & I travelled to Phuket airport on Sep 1 , and we bought a ticket for taxi to the hotel down town for 600 bath. The ticketing personnel at the ticket counter at the airport " helped" us pay the bill with 500 & 1,000 bills. We we're disappointed after learning that we were cheated by the women selling us the ticket for Limousine Services, 076-205225, 205378. We were disappointed that you allow such people to operate at the ticket counter. It was such a bad representation of Thailand and it's people as well as Phuket airport. We are still in Thailand, but have no desire of returning or will encouraging or friends to travel to Thailand because of this experience.

I have already booked and paid for my Air Asia flight to Phuket next February. Included in the airfare was airport tax.

My recent web searches found conflicting information about payment of Passenger Service Charge(PSC)for those exiting Phuket airport. My questions are as follow :

a)Is PSC the same as airport
tax in which case I need not
pay any further?

b)If it is not the same, do I
actually need to pay given
that one website says not
necessary and yet another
says it's payable?

c)If it is payable, how much
is chargeable per passenger
and how do I pay for it?
