Used the Ariport in November and December 2010. The facilities were clean and tidy. The restaurant was OK, cafe was good. Overall the staff was polite and kind.

This is about the regulation of airport. As i know, all airport around the world stated that passenger cannot hand carry any liquid form stuff while boarding the flight. But i also know passenger can check in their luggage if there are liquid form stuff in their luggage.Last week i travelled to Laos and bought 4 bottle of Coca Cola from there as my collection. Yesterday when i departed from Wattay Airport, since i was bringing the liquid stuff, so i checked in my bag. But Wattay Airport crew prohibited me to check in my bag due to the coke. I argued with them, why others airport are allow passenger to check in their luggage if there are liquid inside their bag while in Wattay Airport does not allow?i just brought back from Cambodia last year and my friend also brought back from Japan early this year. Is this Laos Airport rules more stringent or mistaken?i felt very frustrated with your service. The crew told me because of air pressure so they do not allow passeger to bring liquid form stuff. So may i know why the air flight company can sell their drink inside the flight?and why duty free shop in laos allow passenger to buy liquor and bring inside to flight?Somemore the check in counter lady was totally not polite while talking to me.Her attitude problem was very obvious.Bear in mind that I am your guest not your criminal. Pls talk to me gently. I really feel very very disappointed and unsatisfaction. I need a proper explanation from you.

Very clean.Brand new terminal.
Limited international flights.They have an internet cafe but slow connection.There is a restaurant downstairs.

I found the facilities to be first class The restaurant was excellent, food was yummy
I found the airport in general to be clean and tidy. Overall you would have to say for the size of the airport, we were a little disappointed with the duty free shopping.
