Joanne Brown (Stirling, Scotland) - January 21, 2009Dear Sir, We loved Levi and Finland but were so terribly disappointed on our return home (28 December 2008) The airport was so chaotic and disorganised that passengers couldn't board their flights due to the huge crush at Gate 6 - and we were delayed. This delay cost us our onward flight from London Gatwick. The additional cost of overnight accommodation in London, buses and four new flights to Scotland the next day cost £550. Monarch have not responded - the pilot stated that this was his worst turnaround in 30 years! they say the plane was there on time for us - our travel insurance quote 'small print' at us stating they will not pay as the problem was purely Kittila Airport. Please can you help? We truly had a wonderful 5 days over Christmas, HotelLevitunturi, the trips, the skiing, the lovely girls who looked after our children - but having saved all year for our once in a lifetime holiday the extra £550 is truly horrifying to us - please help?
