A poor rating because of a machine malfunction. It would not print my and many other boarding passes. I was flying on wj220. I suggested that WJ staff put a sign on the machines informing others of the issue. I was told by the supervisor that only airport staff could do that. The issue was not attended to in the hour that I stood in line.

YYJ airport authority states it is concerned about the public's health and safety. Perhaps they/you could start by fumigating the new waiting area to eliminate the COCKROACHES seen and photographed on the carpet in front of me at 6:00 a.m.

Yellow Cab of Victoria,
817 Fisgard St, V8W 1R9
Dear Sir or Madam,
My husband and I arrived at Victoria International Airport on a delayed flight at 2:30 am on
Monday, Dec 3. Many people were waiting for cabs in line outside the arrivals door. When we
reached the front of the queue the first driver refused to take us because we had three large bags and he didn’t want to put one on his leather front seat.
The second driver stopped back from the front of the queue and as we walked toward his car he told us someone had phoned for him so he would be taking them. This driver was in car #235. A couple, not in the line up, told us very belligerently that they had called for the cab and they then took the car with the driver’s consent and drove off. All of this was very upsetting to the dozen or more persons in the line.
This is not my understanding of how the airport taxi service is supposed to work. I thought it was first come, first served. It hardly seems right that if we are not allowed to call another taxi service that this policy should be honoured.
Another person in line said, “What we need is Uber”. Maybe it’s time.
Yours sincerely,
Mary Chapman
