Shashi Airport — Shashi, China

This airport has not seen regular service for the last 10 years. Terminal is derelict, extensive amount of rubish in and around the airport. Runway 1800 meters is still in acceptable condition, so is the ramp that can easly accomodate 3 large passenger jets. 2 helicopter operators and a fix wing company with 3 old Antonovs are based at the field. Unicom frequency is 130.00, a retired ATC employee listens on the frequency but speaks only Chinese. It is a shame that this facility does not have a minimum of care taking as it could be very useful to the aviation community.
