I was able to use Pisco to fly to Cusco in 2018. LATAM handled flights. That year, the airport only flew to Cusco (other than NAZCA fly over flights), and only flew twice a week and only 6 months of the year. That was spotty limited service but still of use, as Cusco was a good hub to then fly on elsewhere. The planes were full, very clean, airport is very clean and nice, airline very reliable (LATAM).
Problem is that since Covid, I don't believe the airport has resumed operation for commercial flights other than the NAZCA tourist round-trip fly overs. Wish it would get active again .. I keep checking and so far can't find any flights.

Hola! We were stuck at the Pisco airport all day for a Nazca overflight - no food or drinks, a tarmac guard shot a little dog in the spine and drove off to let it slowly die. It was shocking to see.
