Public transport
The KLIA Ekspres train runs every 15 minutes (every 20 minutes during off-peak periods) between the airport and KL Sentral railway station near downtown Kuala Lumpur. The non-stop journey takes 28 minutes, and for destinations near the city center, it is considerably faster (and cheaper) than going the entire way by taxi. Uniformed porters provide assistance loading and unloading luggage, and tipping is discouraged. From KL Sentral you can book a taxi to your final destination at the taxi counters past the train turnstile (Budget Taxi provides the best rates), or connect to the KTM Komuter, Putra, or KL Monorail transit lines. Adult ticket price for the KLIA Ekspres train is MYR35 (USD10). Tickets can be purchased with credit cards or Malaysian cash in the baggage collection area or at the train station on level 1. For more information see the KLIA Ekspres web site.
For Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, take the KL Transit train to the Putrajaya station.
Budget-conscious travelers with plenty of time on their hands can take a local bus from outside airport level 1 to Nilai KTM Komuter rail station, and then ride approximately one hour to KL Sentral.
Airport hotel
The airside transit hotel is located in the C terminal (where most long-haul flights arrive and land). For enquiries telephone +603.8787.4848 or email AirsideHotel@malaysiaairports.com.my.
The Pan Pacific Hotel Kuala Lumpur International Airport is connected to the terminal building via covered walkway. For enquiries telephone +603.8787.3333 or see the Pan Pacific Hotel KLIA web site.
Banking, ATMs, and currency exchange
ATMs are located in the public part of the airport on levels 3 (arrival) and 5 (departure).
Internet access
Wifi: Free wireless internet for laptops is available throughout the airport, with coverage everywhere except baggage collection. The SSID is "KLIA Wireless". Unfortunately, this service no longer allows connections to anything but unencrypted web pages. Corporate email, VPN, online banking, and all other services are blocked. So basically it's useless except for reading news headlines or diddling around on Facebook. You can still get proper internet access at KLIA, but only via the Timezone network at Starbucks in the satellite terminal. Otherwise, if you need to get work done, change planes in Singapore instead.
In the C terminal there are several free stand-up internet PC stations for passenger use.
Paid internet access is available in a number of locations in the landside/public area of the airport, including the Burger King restaurant on the arrivals level.

Passenger feedback
Why has't anyone said anything here since 2014? That is like some 4 years of silence. Is this website dead?
I'll arrive at the KL International Airport at midnight around 00:05 hrs. Are the currency exchange services still in operation? Thank you for your advice.
Have you changed the flight path? I moved to pd nearly 5 years ago to a peaceful spot in Telok Kemang. Since you opened KLiA2 there are low flights over us every two minutes and now I can not even sleep....what happened to flying over the sea or the palm oil estates? Your new flights get a big thumbs down from all of us in the once peaceful town of Port Dickson. It is now 10.30pm and I have to raise my voice to talk to my husband... No chance of sleeping!
Is there any shuttle bus services between KLIA to LCCT (Air Asia Terminals) ? What is the time between ?

Can i use any chatting programs in KLIA free now?
One of the best airports ever. Even better than many European and American airports. I am from Australia and I travel extensively. I must say that Kuala Lumpur has first world infrastructure and very travelling businessman friendly as well as tourist friendly. Pleasant experience!
