As a frequent flyer and one who appreciates our IAH airport, I am frankly surprised that the horribly ugly and annoying dead tree painted green and the accompanying weird noises coming from the speakers that surround it has survived all these years in Terminal A. It is right at the center of the food courtyard and all I want to do is run as far aeay from it as I can. If it is supposed to be art, I fail to see or feel its beauty.

Would it be possible to paint the Letters Terminal designation signs. Letters on the signs are faded and with the light glare especially early in the morning and late at night it is difficult to clearly see the letters, especially A terminal when coming from JFK drive, there is a sign where A is on the right then immediately on the left for passenger drop off. Thanks.

Arriving from Cancunon United with a 90 minute layover for flight to Vancouver. Plane landed on time, but authority took 40 minutes to open a gate for passengers to disembark. After that there was no direction from airline or aiport authorities so all passengers had to line up for hours for immigration at 9.30 pm. Our scheduled connection was delayed 2 hours to allow us to board to Vancouver. All delays were so unnecessary. In addition duty free purchased in Cancun was disposed of with no possibilty of putting in luggage.
