Public airstrip in Bollon QLD.Mainly used by emergency services for evacuations etc . Basic facilities only . Runway is around 1100mtrs (L) x 18mtrs(W) , sealed turning ends, but compacted dirt on remainder of runway. Has Emergency solar PAL lighting. No apron light or power on site . Small building with toilets & no other facilities . Airstrip & apron in ok condition . Airstrip could be easily extended to 1400mtrs & fully sealed. Ideally 1400mtrs long x 30mtrs would be ideal & give better margins for safety . Livestock exclusion fencing also recently completed .
