To whom it may concern. Before the GC airport can claim its international status, it needs to have its operational issues remedied. This morning 8/01/2013, 3 International flights landed. Scoot landed first at 8.05 Passengers from Scoot finally were discharged through the terminal 1 hour 40 minutes later because of the chaos of Customs etc in processing with insufficient staff etc. This aspect of GC airport is third world stuff. Brisbane is a true International Airport with adequate facilities and resources and we will consider an alternative departure airport despite the additional distance from the GC next time we head overseas.
