These evil worker purposely don't put (add phone number) on the entry card u fill on the plane, then once your at syhelt airport the check out officer goes mental and rude to because you have not added a phone number which you had no idea needed to be filled in. They dont let you add a uk number and take money off u to add there Bangladeshi number. They are in syhelt speaking a different type of bangali and think we should automatically understand them. They have signs saying no camera/filming allowed at the airport because they don't want to get court taking money off you, if you take a video of them they rob your phone and you will never seen it again

The worst airport I have ever visited . It's full of security lapses and everyone is after 'tea money'.

The gentlemen ahead of me in the queue was told his British passport was fake, he was talking to some officials who indicated 5000 Taka would sort the problem, I next saw him picking up his lugages in heathrow.

Seriously these people are annoying in Bangladesh. They love getting money off from innocent people. I went once but I will never go back there again and see them idiots again in the airport. If its the poor kids or poor people then it's alright but the airport.

Bangladesh is going down and down. Bangladesh will not have standard life ever. Airport are sucks as they wants money and these people work their don't even know what is a customer service. They know only how to get money even in Dhaka airport. Custom officers are begger and if you don't give anything then they give you troubles. I wish I never have to go to Bangladesh Airport or Bangladesh. Everybody sucks!

One of the most disgraced Airport in the world. I am surprised the government is allowing this. My luggages went though the usual security x ray scans, the security officer asked what do I have in their he wants to me to open it, so I said clothes and some limes etc, the officer said lime is illegal and cannot take it to heathrow. I said "who told you its illegal?" Asked him to provide factual info to prove its illegal, I was very confident its not. The security officer asked for bribes from me and said if I give him some money for Tea, I do not have to open the luggages. I said to him, "If I pay you Tea Money the illegal limes will become legal?" He smiles. Then I asked him if he does not get wages to have Tea? I refused to give him any money and wanted to speak to his manager. He got annoyed and decided to stick the security tag and let me go. Bloody crooks they are. A word of advise never give any money to these crooks in sylhet or any where. Its becoming 2nd nature to these crooks.

Passengers constantly get harrased for money by the officials. In the luggage area all the trolly's are hidden. You will only get the trolly if you pay money to third party people operating inside the airport. After suffering all this as soon as you walk outside the airport building passengers get mobbed by people asking you for money. It's a disgrace. Passenger's don't need this after a long flight. The authority should do more to encourage more visitors so it is better for B-DESH.Instead they are doing the opposite. Totally corrupt place. yuk

Visitor have to pay 100 taka per person.

No mobile charge points or wifi.

The authorities (CAAB) should finish the long awaited work at the airport so International flight can fly here.

Best part - There is a pray area to read your Salah.

will nothing be done about these mother f---ers (airport officers), how many more people have to be tortured and killed before some changescome into force. is there not a governing body who looks over these bloody airports. i am in shock that respected people are having to face there worse nightmare in the hands of these filthy dogs who will do there own mother or sister without a secong thought. i would rather die in the process but will not let these filthy dirty smelly bastardsput there finger on me. i am currently doing as much as i can to expose these animals by involving as much people as possible in creating any kind of solution. WE MUST DO SOMETHING ANYTHING!

This airport is a disgrace I’ve seen other passengers getting beaten up or murdered for no reason. They don’t know customer services and how to treat passengers they are only nice to you if you give them extra money.
AR (USA) - May 7, 2008
sucks....in service, providing service, employees, no shops. and fact that one can't see family relatives once they get boarding pass even if that mean 10 hours delay...f.ing sucks. BD gov sucked and still suck.
