Changi International Airport — Singapore

Changi International Airport

Nobody likes a long layover, but if there's no way to avoid it, you can't pick a better place than Singapore's Changi Airport.

With amenities including peaceful flower gardens, free mini-cinemas, comfortable sleeping chairs, free X-box games (upstairs in Terminal 2), 24-hour restaurants, 24-hour convenience stores at city prices, and proper work desks with universal power sockets and free broadband internet, it's a traveler's dream.

Tiger Airways uses the nearby Budget Terminal, which is connected to the main airport by regular free shuttle bus service (travel time about 15 minutes). The Budget terminal is much simpler, but still nicer than most other airports.

Passenger feedback

[question]Moto Kataoka (Japan) - February 26, 2018
According to Terms and conditions of General restrictions for carrying on board, liquids more than 100ml is not allowed to carry on board, which Is quite common and understandable, but the exemptions are if those liquids are medication items including baby formula. When I intended to take a flight for Bnagkok on Feb.26th 2018, your security staff at boarding gate took my contact-lens cleaning solutions which kept in partially in a bottle and discard to trush box with saying this was not allowed to carry on. I made a contest that the liquid was not alcohol nor cosmetics, but medication purpose.
However Mr.Suja Sasidharan ID54182 declined my appeal and said to me that I should have a doctor's discription. How does every baby have such discription? How do your guys judge ok or not ok?
I needed a cleaning solution to put on and off my lens during a trip. Pleas clarify your criteria for your judgement.

Hi,Changi International Airport is one of the Best airports I & my family have used..I was in Singapore during April 2007 & it was a pleasure to use this airport.Lovely greenery inside & all around the airport adds to the beauty of the airport..The 24 hr restaurant & the duty free shops are too good.Infact, prices in the duty free shops are less compered to the shops out in Singapore & you get all the latest electronic gadgets. The airport is very user friendly & the staff are very polite & cordial..Singapore is a beautiful country. Its the most cleanliest & well maintained city I have visited so far..Its a joy to holiday in Singapore...Hats off to the people & the Govt of Singapore..My family enjoyed their holiday the most in Singapore..Its a must see country..Cheers.!!!
